PADI Multi-Level Speciality

Multi Level Diving is the principle of diving at several different depths during a dive in ascending order, before a final ascent. It is a far more efficient means of diving because; whereas the Recreational Dive Planner (dive table) may only permit a dive for 20 minutes at 30 metres before ascent is necessary, Multi level allows you to plan a dive at:

-> 30 metres for 10 minutes
-> 18 metres for 15 minutes
-> 10 metres for 15 minutes
before an ascent is necessary.

Consequently the total dive time is increased. This is particular to shore diving where almost all dives are conducted in this manner. In this course you will be orientated to a new piece of technology from PADI, the ERDPml. This digital device will aid in planning Multi Level dives whilst you undergo this course.
