Guided Recreational Dives
All dives operated out of DIVE THE GAP are accompanied by one of our Divemasters or Instructors. There purpose is as an underwater guide, as well as being fully versed in problem management, rescue and health and safety. All of our staff are more than familiar with all the dive sites and have undergone significant training to make sure you get the most out of each dive.
Safety
Every trip that involves travelling away from the dive centre will take spare equipment, emergency oxygen and first aid kits just in case. Additionally we will have a vehicle at the exit to the dive site at all times.
Hyperbaric Medical Treatment
Dive The Gap has a 100% Safety Record due to our commitment to ensuring everything is done properly. Just to be on the safe side Dahab has 2 recompression chambers for dealing with hyperbaric medical conditions such as decompression sickness (The Bends). Both chambers are 5 minutes from the dive resort.
Diving Doctors
Dr Adel is the Divers Alert Network (DAN) official of the area. He is one of the finest Diving Doctors in the world and he and his deputy work between Dahab and Sharm El Sheikh.

Dahab Dive Sites
Dahab is world renowned for having some of the most spectacular diving locations in the world, containing a massive array of underwater life, and geographical formations. The average water temperature is 26oC, with highs of 29oC in the summer and lows of 22oC in February. Dahab maintains a sunny climate but unlike Sharm El Sheikh we have a gentle gust to keep us cool.
