Ras Abu Galum

Abu Galum is accessible only by camel, and due to its remoteness, all the sites are in pristine condition. Camping for the day at a small bedouin village that is situated just over an hour away by camel from the blue hole.

There are approximately 8 different dive sites here ranging from sloping reef walls to coral gardens and tropical lagoons. There are 2 or 3 different drift dives that can be done here as well. There is an abundance of coral and fish life that is second to none in this area, including a unique reef that possibly has the only population of red tooth trigger fish.

Diving at Abu Galum is conducted as a safari. It is a fantastic day out and worth seeing some dive sites that aren't dived so often.
