Golden Blocks

Given its name for the huge pinnacles that are visible at low tide and appear golden on really sunny days (most days!). There are entrances to this site at both the northern and southern point of blocks where the reef slopes into the shore. Entering from the northern point, you swim down a sloping sandy bottom to where the hard coral bottom begins and there is a gully starting at 10m which slopes down and can be followed to whichever depth is desired. Turning then to the right you follow a sloping sandy bottom that is covered with coral outcrops until coming to another gully where, at 18m, you find a gigantic gorgonian coral. Circling back towards the reef which runs parallel to the shore and staying at 9m you come to the vast pinnacles that are abounding with fish life. Following the reef while doing your safety stop brings you back to your entry point.

The ease of entry makes this site accessible whatever the weather conditions and is open to all level of divers, choosing your maximum depth according to the experience of those in the group.
