Dive the Gap seems to be a very good example of what can be achieved when a motivated business head (Robin) meets with strong technical understanding (Paul) and then appeals to the general public in an innovative way. I’m really enjoying watching this business develop.

Just wanted to say thank you for helping to organise what was a very good holiday for my family and me and my dad really enjoyed diving.
Sofia was very good, I ended up doing a deep dive on thursday, which I didnt think I would ever do, because I was scared but I did it with sofia and it was the best dive yet

Both Thistlegorm (shipwreck) and Abu Galum (camel safari) were my favourite parts of the trip exceeding my expectations, the marine life was unbelievable. I have definitely enjoyed my trip, the hotel and the shared rooms were much better than I expected and all the staff were excellent.

Matt (friend of Al) here…I would like to thank Alex, my Advanced Open Water diving instructor for her dedication & professionalism and Paul, Vincent, Kate & all the other Dive the Gap staff for all their help & friendly advice in making this such a successful diving holiday. Thanks also to Robin for creating my tailor-made dive schedule! I would also recommend Dahab as a great holiday destination, even without its fantastic dive sites. I will be coming back ASAP to Dive The Gap, so I guess that is the ultimate compliment one can make!

Al Blatter (Matt’s diving friend) here…..Just wanted to thank you for
setting-up my very cool diving situation at your DIVE-THE-GAP. Everything
was well-organized which allowed me to accomplish both my OPEN WATER &
ADVANCED OPEN WATER certifications with a minimum of hassle. Paul, Sophie &
your other instructors (especially Kate Lovett who taught me) were both
terrific people & real pros. Sincere thanks for a job well done & I hope to
one day have the pleasure of meeting–& knocking down a few pints with–you
in person with Matt. In the meantime, I wish you continued success & all the
best in your future endeavors.

I spent 6 weeks before christmas in Dahab and had such a good time that I decided to return in February. I completed my Emergency First Response, Rescue Diver, Divemaster and Instructor courses during these trips and really enjoyed them.
The teaching I received was excellent! The team are very professional, whilst still remaining fun and relaxed. I really did learn so much from my mentor, Sophia and the rest of the team.

Dahab is an amasing place to visit and dive and the Resort was a perfect place to stay… central, comfortable and with a very friendly atmosphere.
I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience made possible by a great bunch of people at the dive centre and resort.
I thoroughly recommend it! I’ll definately be back!

Had the most fantastic time in Dahab! The resort was comfortable, chilled and in a great location and the staff and instructors were fantastic. The diving was awesome (camel safari dive and boat trip were definitely group favourites!!) and I hope to return soon! Thanks guys!

Brilliant - the only word that can describe our time in Dahab. Paul and Sophia and the team are simply the best. My son (12) and I dived several times with both and it was outstanding. Out of the water the accommodation was excellent and the festivities are also pretty darn good. I might be little biased as Paul is my Brother - even if it was not family I would still be writing the same!!

Just to say Thanks a Billion! I felt in very good hands from the moment I arrived at the airport and saw that sign with my name on it. Honestly stepping off the aeroplane its like ‘Thats Better’! The accommodation is absolutely brilliant, air conditioned and looks out to sea with the whole resort right in the centre of town on the main promenade. Everything you need is taken care of.

Helena and I went out for the Dahab Diver programme. It was really nice getting away from the British winter. Dive The Gap is a fun a friendly place right in the centre of town. We did a great deal of diving and explored the local area, went to Petra and Mount Sinai. What a trip this was!

I stumbled across Dive The Gap after finding them on a google search. The range of programmes are fantastic and I really like the way that you can build a programme online exactly how you want it to be. After a long telephone conversation I decided to do the Divemaster programme. After 2 and a half months I became a qualified PADI Divemaster. To me this was one of the best times of my life. The whole experience from start to finish was wonderful.

Great! I am an experienced diver and to me, this is the best diving location in the world. Robin and Paul run a flawless operation and really do make you feel welcome. Can’t wait to go back! Almost feel like giving up my accounting job!

I would like to thank everybody involved with Dive The Gap. William came back from Egypt with a great big smile on his face and talked about his time out there for days. He has a professional dive master qualification, something to add to his CV, and is already talking about another visit next year.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time out in Dahab and would like to say that the teaching is the best, very professional but relaxed. Dahab is an amazing place – I dived 38 times and never got bored and by far the best part was the guys at the dive centre, and meeting like-minded people at the hotel. Booking my trip was simple and I was able to customise exactly what I wanted online. In any case Robin (manager) was always at hand to help with the million questions I had. Dahab is the best place I can think of to spend a month relaxing, having fun and diving, and I would recommend Dive The Gap to everyone!

I had one of the best times of my life. The guys working out there really are good. Sophia is the best instructor in the world! She makes it all so easy and really trains you well. She made me extremely confident in what I was doing so that I got the most out of it. The atmosphere of the resort is welcoming and friendly from the moment you arrive, whilst at the same time being extremely professional. From start to finish everything had been organised properly. Waiting for me at the airport when I arrived was a big sign with my name on it and at the resort, a nice cold beer! Scuba Diving was an entirely new activity for me; now I love it. The act of being completely weightless, the fish life and the adventure! Definitely one of the best things I have done!

The teaching there is so good. I went out as a Rescue Diver to do my DM (Divemaster). All the way through I felt like I was part of the scuba diving team, and that they were really trying to make me a professional. They gave me advice and insider knowledge on what to do next. I came back a few months later and did my instructor course as well.

The professional training of the instructors is second to none – they really will pour all of their knowledge into the student, the so called ‘Mentor and Protege’ relationship that you will be pushed to find elsewhere. I learnt everything I know from the instructors here and like to think that I hold the same standards of precision and excellence.
(Jon is now a full time member of staff!)
