Adam’s shots of one of the most famous dive sites in the world, the Blue Hole. A complex reef system grown on a vertical wall with an enormous hole that inexplicably protrudes to over 100m deep. The water enters though an arch at 60m whilst the divers cross at just under 10m. Rumour has it that the divers can pass at this ‘saddle’ at 10 metres thanks tp the efforts of Jack Cousteau dynamite consortium. Continue reading

S.S. Thistlegorm Second World War British Military Cargo ship sank in 1941 with all cargo on borad after being hit by a NAZI bomb in hold number 4. Now one of the largest and most well preserved shipwrecks at a diveable depth in the world. Continue reading

Macros from John Hill. His new camera is extremely good at taking all kinds of different photos, from sillouttes to reef systems and panoramic diving photos yet he chooses to hold the lens a few inches from the coral and go for the macros. Looks good though. Continue reading

Instructor Evaluation is the last step in the Instructor Development Course. PADI Examiners come down from Bristol to Dahab and hold a series of in water and out water exams for all Instructor Candidates in the area. As well as having 5 of our own candidates we also host the location for the inwater examinations where students are tested on their teaching abilities with a series of outlandish problems to deal with. All 5 of of ours cam top of the class. Continue reading
