Professional Dive Training
One of the other things you can do on a Career Break is become a scuba diving professional. There are two kinds of diving professional in the PADI system. A PADI Divemaster is an on site manager, you manage dive operations and take people diving every single day. They are the backbone of the dive industry. An Instructor does all of that but also teaches and runs seminars.
The advantage of becoming a professional is that you have the industry leading qualifications to work in scuba diving, from recreational diving to research and conservation projects. And you have an enormous array of transferable leadership and communication CV skills sought after in all industries. |

Diving Safaris
Once you are a qualified diver you can join our team as they head out to more than 27 local dive sites, plus Second World War shipwrecks, Underwater National Parks and some of the most famous dive sites in the world. We also operate Camel Dive safaris where you head out to locations normally inaccessible to sea some diving location incomparable to any others. |

Our Experience
At the moment we have 11 PADI scuba diving professional. We have a combined diving experience of more than 50 years and most of us have awards from PADI for 'recognition of excellence' and certifying students.

The online programmes take advantage of our booking system that allows you to edit every aspect of your programme from accommodation to specialities. Diving Safety
Dive The Gap enforce a strict safety policy. All staff are trained first aid instructors and all dives take all equipment that would be needed in an emergency regardless of where they are going. We train students in safety from day 1 and do not progress in their training until this is mastered. Dive The Gap has a 100% safety record.
