A PADI Divemaster is the first professional level qualification and denotes excellence in dive theory, dive management, skills, environmental awareness and leadership. Divemasters are the on-site managers of dive operations, guiding, supervising and assisting certified divers.

The primary role of a divemaster is guiding scuba divers across underwater dive sites, however they also assist instructors in the training of students, perform refresh courses for divers who have not dived for some time and can conduct discover scuba diving and introduction diving courses.
The PADI Divemaster certification will give you a passport to travel and work across the globe and Divemasters are sought after in over 200 countries. They are the backbone of the diving industry and many PADI professionals use their credentials to travel the globe and earn as they do.
